Security Specialist

The Security Specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise endpoint and email security solutions. The role focuses on threat detection, security policy management, incident investigation, and operational support of security platforms.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with endpoint protection, email security, phishing investigation, malware analysis, and security incident response.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint and email security solutions.
• Manage security platforms including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Proofpoint Email Security, Trend Micro.
• Configure and tune security policies to improve threat detection and reduce false positives.
• Investigate security alerts related to phishing attacks, malware infections, ransomware activity, email-based threats, and endpoint compromises.
• Perform threat analysis, containment, and remediation activities.
• Support SOC teams with security investigations and escalations.
• Monitor endpoint and email security events.
• Assist with security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
• Maintain operational documentation including configurations, procedures, and incident records.

5-6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, endpoint security, or email security. Certification Required: Vendor-specific security certification.

• Hands-on experience with two or more of: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Proofpoint Email Security, Trend Micro Security Solutions, Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
• Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, email security controls, threat detection, malware analysis, phishing investigation.
• Experience handling security incidents and remediation activities.
• Understanding of email security protocols: SPF, DKIM, DMARC.

Relevant certifications: Microsoft SC-200/SC-300 or other security-related Microsoft certifications; Proofpoint Certified Email Security Professional; Trend Micro Certified Professional (TMCP) or Security Specialist certifications.

• Experience integrating endpoint and email security solutions with SIEM/SOC platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security ecosystem.
• Knowledge of threat hunting methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
