About the Role

The IAM Lead will be responsible for defining, implementing, and governing enterprise Identity and Access Management capabilities. The role requires strong experience in IAM architecture, identity governance, access lifecycle management, and integration of IAM platforms with enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will lead IAM transformation initiatives, drive automation of identity processes, and ensure secure access management across cloud, SaaS, and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the enterprise IAM strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap.
  • Define IAM governance models, standards, policies, and operational processes.
  • Lead implementation and improvement of IAM capabilities including Identity Lifecycle Management, Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, and PAM.
  • Design and review IAM integrations with business applications, legacy platforms, and cloud services.
  • Develop and govern custom IAM connectors, plugins, and automation workflows.
  • Improve identity provisioning, access approval, and certification processes.
  • Work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure IAM solutions meet regulatory, audit, and security requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for IAM platform upgrades, enhancements, and vendor engagements.

Requirements

10-12 years of hands-on IAM experience. Certification Required: IAM Certification (Mandatory), CISSP preferred.

  • Strong experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, IBM Security Verify Governance (IGI), Saviynt.
  • Strong understanding of identity governance, access certification, RBAC and ABAC, SSO, MFA, PAM.
  • Experience developing IAM connectors, plugins, and application integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.
  • Experience automating IAM workflows using APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools.

Qualifications

  • Programming experience in Java, C++, or similar languages.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and IAM SDKs.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP identity services.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
